The Rehab Services team at RAMC is looking for a scheduler to join them!  This position will assist with checking in patients, entering referrals and answering incoming calls;. They may also assist in cleaning treatment areas and toys used as well. 


Schedule:

6:30 A- 5:30 P

1-2 days per week


Position Summary:

The Department Secretary position is a vital part of the Rehab Team that supports the smooth overall functioning of
all services provided. Responsibilities include answering incoming calls, triaging referrals, scheduling patients for
multiple providers, verifying account information and billing, completing medical record requests, managing patient
charts, taking massage payments and providing support to the needs of the patients and staff. This position also
closes the department and may need to be flexible in hours to meet the department's and other staff's needs. 



Education and Training Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology needed or willing to acquire.

Experience:

  • Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Epic experience preferred.

  • Able to work with a variety of staff and patients.
  • Able to deal with multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately.
  • Able to make decisions, assess and resolve problems effectively.
