Job DetailsJob Location: Register, GA 30452Job Title: Paint Production SupervisorDepartment: PaintLocation: Register, GA Job Type: FT Exempt Shift: 2nd shift, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (Schedule is subject to change based on production demands.)Reports to: Paint Manager Job Summary The Paint Supervisor is an experienced leader that drives operational excellence.  The Production Supervisor’s primary responsibility is to manage a production area to ensure the team meets Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery targets. The Production Supervisor builds effective team relationships to cultivate a culture of safe performance and strict adherence to standard operating procedures.  This position works closely with internal and external teams to maintain the highest production efficiencies while satisfying customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Responsible for all personnel related functions including staffing, performance appraisal, timekeeping, feedback, development, and continuous improvement. Assist and guide supervisory staff within departments in giving positive recognition, corrective actions, and/or issuing terminations to employees when needed. Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to manager. Provide guidance for day-to-day operations to Production Leads as well as designating specific tasks. Maintains safe and clean work environment by training and educating personnel on the use of equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established safety policies and procedures. Work with the Production Leads to ensure they have the tools/resources needed to complete their schedule each day. Manage workflow within the department to insure complete, on-time delivery of quality product to both internal and external customers. Conduct staff meetings as necessary and participate in monthly staff meetings. Develop employee culture aimed at plant cleanliness and set in place processes and programs that insure high degrees of cleanliness. Ability to travel as required by the position and customer needs. Effective ability to interact with other staff or service areas of the company toward the goals of enhancing employee relations, reduction of turnover, serving or supporting committees. Implements and supports Continuous Improvement throughout the organization. Able to work cooperatively including but not limited to team members, support teams, leadership, customer, supplier partners and guests. Able to exercise good judgment in decision making, ideas, and all aspects relating to the Ecoplastic team and other company relationships. Able to maintain a professional appearance and conduct, always exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor. Qualifications Minimum of 2 or more years production leadership experience    Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering or equivalent experience Proficient using computerized programs, especially Microsoft Office, ERP, SAP Strong experience with environmental, health, and safety practices & standards Experience with QMS and Continuous Improvement Knowledge of production tools and equipment Strong communication and public speaking skills Comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities Demonstrate ability to establish credibility and be decisive, but still able to recognize and support the organization’s mission Confidentiality and safeguarding sensitive information/materials is mandatory in this role Preferred Qualifications Previous supervisory management experience Experience in paint, injection molding, or automotive manufacturing Experience with IATF 16949 OSHA 10 or 30 Certification LEAN Certification or other types of production system training (Six Sigma, JIT, ISO) Benefits Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision)  401(k) Plan  Paid Time Off (PTO)  Relocation Support (if applicable) EEO Statement SECO Ecoplastic America is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
