Job DetailsJob Location: Register, GA 30452Job title: Production Team Leader Department: Assembly  Location:  Register, GA Job Type: FT Exempt/ Hourly   Shift: 2nd Shift A Team Lead is a hands-on front-line leader.  The Team Lead is responsible for engaging team members and improving operational efficiency through direct coaching. This person effectively interacts with team members to ensure they have the tools/resources needed to safely complete scheduled work within Ecoplastic’s quality standards.  All Team Leads collaborate and work as a team to meet department goals. RESPONSIBILITES   Conducts pre-shift meeting to reinforce safety, quality, and production metrics Assists and guides team members within departments in giving positive recognition or corrective action when needed Manages departmental performance measures, including visual controls, and provides regular progress reports to leadership Guides day-to-day operations to team members as well as specific assignments Maintains a safe and clean work environment by training and educating personnel on the use of equipment and resources, maintaining compliance with established safety policies and procedures Manages workflow within the department to ensure complete, on-time delivery of quality product to both internal and external customers, which may mean working alongside team members Maintains a professional appearance and conduct, exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor at all times. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of one year of leadership experience or three years of manufacturing application Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, especially strong with Excel Ability to utilize and operate a computerized management system with accuracy. Strong communication and public speaking to effectively deliver shift meetings, coaching, and conflict resolution Must be able to handle sensitive, related, and proprietary information in a confidential manner Ability to exercise good judgment in decision making, ideas, and all aspects relating to the MyEco team and other company relationships. Ability to establish credibility and be decisive, but still able to recognize and support the organization’s mission Ability to work as part of a team including but not limited to members of management, employees throughout Ecoplastic, and supplier partnerships Knowledge of safety protocols and a commitment to a SAFETY-FIRST culture Ability to constantly stand and walk on concrete floors wearing safety boots during an 8- to 12-hour shift. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to walk up and down stairs in tight areas. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus and differentiate colors. Requires regular, in-person attendance at the facility Flexibility to work weekends and nights for projects when required.
