Role Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed cosmetic inspections to identify repairs and enhancements needed for vehicles to meet CarMax standards
- Repair and replace small parts to ensure vehicles are fully functional and meet CarMax standards
- Perform paint retouching, waxing, buffing, and post-paint finishing to meet CarMax standards
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deliver exceptional customer-ready vehicles
- Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Required Qualifications
- Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina, including ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
- Exceptional attention to detail and customer-focused mindset
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to work primarily outdoors, including in noisy or inclement weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in vehicle detailing and cosmetic repair, including washing, waxing, buffing, masking, sanding, grinding, and paint application
- Familiarity with removing and replacing small parts and performing minor repairs
