Overview of Job Function(s):Â
Evaluating the viability of customer returned audio products and systems for refurbishing to saleable condition. This includes testing, troubleshooting, repairing, updating firmware, cleaning, confirming accessories completeness, repackaging, and labeling for resale.Â
 Perform quality control assessments of new products using company supplied inspection procedures and test applications.
Five Essential Job Responsibilities:
•   Effectively troubleshoot products to determine cause and devise remedy for malfunction
•   Perform required repairs and firmware updates to return units into operational state
•   Ensure all original accessories and Manufacturer support information sheet are included.
•   Clean / detail products to like new condition and re box and label for B-Stock resaleÂ
•   Assist with any other duties in any other department(s) as needed
Job Qualifications:
•   Current working knowledge of computers / software including Microsoft Word and Excel
•   Working knowledge of multimeter, function generator, oscilloscope, DC power supply
•   Working and communicating with peers in a team environment
•   Able to follow verbal direction(s), read and follow written procedures
•   Strong written and verbal communication skills, good attention to detail
•   Experience in Electronic Repair / Troubleshooting
•   Read and understand schematic diagrams
•   Component level soldering skills
•   Pass basic electronic troubleshooting and soldering assessment (Administered upon assignment)
•   Quality work at a relatively fast pace
•   Able to lift 50 pounds
Hours:
 Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM  Overtime may be required at times but is on a volunteer basis. The pay rate will be $23.50/hour to start.
