At Sierra Meat & Seafood, we're passionate about delivering exceptional products and service to our customers. We're looking for a highly organized, detail oriented Inside Sales Coordinator to serve as a critical link between our customers, sales team, and operations.

What You'll Do

As our Inside Sales Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring outstanding customer experience while supporting sales growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer inquiries and sales orders through phone, email, and other channels with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support Account Executives and Business Development leaders by coordinating customer needs and delivering exceptional service.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, resolving issues and ensuring timely communication.
  • Promote new products, specials, and upsell opportunities to help customers discover additional solutions.
  • Coordinate special orders, product samples, and pricing updates.
  • Prepare and distribute weekly bid sheets to designated customers.
  • Provide product information and technical assistance as needed.
  • Communicate customer concerns related to quality, shortages, or service issues and work collaboratively to resolve them.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training programs, and team initiatives.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment and assist wherever needed.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in an office setting
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred:

  • Experience in food manufacturing, food distribution, or related industries

Work Environment

This position operates primarily in an office setting while interacting closely with warehouse and production teams. Occasional work in refrigerated environments may be required.

  • Office environment approximately 90% of the time
  • Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use standard office equipment throughout the day
  • Overtime may occasionally be required to support customer needs and business demands
