Kids Kottage is looking for a caring Youth Technician to join our team and make a real difference for children ages 0–18. You’ll bring comfort, structure, creativity, and plenty of positive energy to children staying in our shelter. Your Day Might Include Sharing smiles, stories, games, crafts, and age-appropriate activities. Helping with feeding, bathing, diapering, dressing, and personal-care needs. Supporting homework, learning, healthy routines, and developmental growth. Assisting with meals—and making sure everyone has what they need. Using patience, encouragement, and positive behavior guidance to help children thrive. Keeping clothing, linens, and shared spaces clean, organized, and ready for the next adventure. Providing routine or emergency transportation when needed. Staying calm in unexpected situations and getting help quickly during emergencies. Completing CPR, First Aid, and other required training.   About Kids KottageKids Kottage is an emergency shelter serving children from infancy through age 18 who need a safe place to stay. The program provides 24/7 care for children who may be experiencing abuse, neglect, abandonment, or a sudden family crisis. Kids Kottage operates in partnership with Washoe County Human Services to help protect children and provide a safe, stable, and nurturing environment during a critical time. Why Work in Reno?
