REACH TRUCK FORKLIFT DRIVER
Distribution facility in Southeast Reno is looking for an experienced, safety-first Reach Truck Operator. - Schedule: Monday through Friday (Day Shift)
- Starting Pay: $19.00 / hour
- High-Bay Operation: Safely operate a stand-up reach truck to stage, put away, and retrieve palletized freight in narrow-aisle, high-density racking.
- Inbound & Outbound: Efficiently load and unload trailers, ensuring accurate counts and zero product damage.
- Inventory Management: Utilize a handheld RF scanner to track inventory movements, confirm storage locations, and execute pick tickets accurately within our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Replenishment: Maintain a steady flow of inventory to processing and packing areas to support daily distribution goals.
- Safety & Maintenance: Conduct required pre-shift equipment inspections and maintain a clean, orderly work zone.
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of consistent experience operating a stand-up reach truck in a high-volume warehouse or distribution setting.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with RF scanning technology and digital inventory systems; experience with high-bay tracking is a major plus.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for the duration of an 8-to-10-hour shift, bend, twist, and safely lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Reliability: Strong attendance record, punctuality, and a collaborative team attitude.
- Certification: Prior OSHA forklift/reach truck certification is highly preferred (on-site recertification will be completed).
