Summary 

Responsible for the coordination, planning, maintenance, and alteration of equipment for buildings, depots and other facilities.  

Essential Functions and Key Position Accountabilities 

•    Inspects HVAC and electrical, repairs and evaluates building and property maintenance needs utilizing the audit checklist.

•    Schedules facilities repairs including providing cost estimates, bids and proposals.

•    Coordinates the requisition of tools, equipment, and supplies.

•    Assists management in the formulation and coordination of program specifications, requirements for proposals, contracts and associated documents.

•    Coordinates equipment installation, facilities equipment repair, and preventive maintenance for assigned locations.

•    Provides training as needed to operations on the safe operation and cleaning of Taco Time facilities and equipment.

•    Accessible for On-Call emergency support as designated by your Manager.

•    Schedules and coordinates emergency services for assigned locations as needed. 

•    Maintains and repairs buildings' plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts, such as switches, fuses, ballasts and bulbs, etc.

•    Replaces worn or damaged parts, such as hoses, wiring, and belts etc. for equipment, such as faucets, gas lines, steam jacket, tortilla press, microwave, etc. or any other parts/equipment at a Taco Time facility.

•    Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks/projects at one time 

•    Adapts to changes in work assignments and environment, is willing to assume additional responsibility and learn new processes

•    Support special projects and other designated activities, as assigned.  Performs other related duties and projects as assigned by Manager

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION

1.    High School Diploma in a related field or equivalent; at least 2 years of facility maintenance or equivalent combination of education and experience. A proven track record of experience in food products, product specification, and facilities maintenance. 


LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

1.    Must have valid Washington State Driver’s License


EXPERIENCE

1.    This position prefers a minimum of three years of maintenance/facilities experience, preferably in a restaurant or service industry environment.

4.    Computer/Office Skills    

a.    Ability to use standard office equipment including computers, telephones, copiers and fax machines.

b.    Intermediate proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook required. 

c.    Standard keyboarding skills
