Client needs someone to own and manage the company’s manufacturing operations and make sure products are built efficiently, on time, at the right quality and cost.

What you will do:

• Manage Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams.
• Make sure production can meet customer demand and delivery deadlines.
• Improve production speed, quality, costs, inventory, and on-time delivery.
• Manage suppliers and improve the supply chain.
• Work with engineering to make new products easier and more efficient to manufacture.
• Maintain ISO 9001 quality standards. ISO/IEC 17025 experience is a plus.
• Track operational KPIs, budgets, and manufacturing costs.
• Help implement a new ERP system and improve manufacturing processes.
• Hire, develop, and lead strong teams.
• Work closely with both executive leadership and the production floor.

What they are looking for:

• 10+ years of manufacturing operations experience.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership/management role.
• Experience with low-volume, high-mix manufacturing of complex products.
• Experience with products such as:
  • Scientific/analytical instruments
  • Optics/photonics
  • Medical devices
  • Test & measurement equipment
  • Complex electro-mechanical products
• Strong experience in manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing engineering.
• ISO 9001 experience is required.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing/continuous improvement and ERP systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
• Must be a hands-on leader who is comfortable working with both executives and production teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of work experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
• 5+ years of Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing experience
• 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing
• 10+ years of work experience with Manufacturing Operations Management
• 1+ years of work experience with ISO 9001
