The Cloud Engineer - Advisor ideal candidate brings extensive experience in team building, collaboration, and facilitation of Cloud engineering in a large, multinational Fortune 500 enterprise. This individual will possess extensive experience in secure, scalable cloud infrastructure, with proven leadership capabilities. In this role, they will manage large-scale public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Â
The  role will afford you the opportunity to work as an individual contributor, while partnering with peers at the Manager and Senior Manager levels. The responsibilities include:Â
Develop and execute strategic cloud infrastructure plans and drive best practices   Â
Design and implement cloud strategies and architectures.  Â
Build robust and modern solutions with hands-on coding Â
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Â
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud solutions with business goals. Â
Stay current with cloud technologies and industry trends. Â
Develop technical documentation and executive-level presentations. Â
Mentor junior engineers. Â
Ensure integration of cloud solutions with existing systems. Â
Identify and mitigate risks; troubleshoot complex issues. Â
Advocate for cloud best practices and standards.  Â

Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure, network architecture, security, and identity management. Â
Experience in building cloud environments (accounts and VPCs) and software-defined networking that allows for connectivity across the enterprise platforms Â
Ability to design Fault Tolerant platforms and implement Failover and Recovery StrategiesÂ
Skilled in DevOps and modern CI/CD methodologies and toolsÂ
Automating cloud orchestration with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to scale servicesÂ
Experience with Cloud-native development frameworks and tools e.g. VPC, Lambda, SNS  Â
Understanding of modern cloud scalability to right-size resources to meet platforms computing needsÂ
