Job Description:

We are looking for a highly organized, execution-focused professional to help drive operational excellence, governance, and continuous improvement across our growing Cybersecurity organization. This hybrid role is ideally based in Reston, VA or Houston, TX. You will be the central point of accountability for service governance across a portfolio of cybersecurity services, strategic partners, and delivery engagements. You will ensure internal cybersecurity services are delivered effectively, commitments are met through robust contact and deliver partner management, ensuring risks are identified early and our leaders have visibility into performance, progress, and outcomes.

You will work closely with Cybersecurity leaders, business stakeholders, procurement, and delivery partners to set clear expectations, monitor performance, unblock issues, and continuously improve service delivery. If you like bringing order to complexity and holding people to their word, while helping them succeed, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Govern Services

  • Set up and run the frameworks that keep our cybersecurity services and key partners accountable
  • Ensure clear accountability, decision-making, escalation paths, and performance expectations are defined and maintained.
  • Drive transparency and consistency across cybersecurity service delivery.

Manage Third Party Service Performance

  • Define, monitor, and report on service performance metrics, KPIs, SLAs etc
  • Identify emerging delivery risks, performance concerns, and operational issues before they impact the business
  • Hold service delivery partners to their commitments, deadlines, and contracted outcomes
  • Drive recovery efforts when performance falls below expectations.

Be the Trusted Point of Contact

  • Build trusted relationships with senior cybersecurity leaders, business stakeholders, and service providers.
  • Be the go-to person for governance on the services and partnerships you own.
  • Facilitate alignment across the organization to ensure work gets done.
  • Turn technical and operational detail into clear, straight-talking updates leaders can act on.

Execute and Deliver

  • Work with delivery teams and procurement to evaluate providers, bring them on board smoothly, and launch services on time.
  • Systematically manage service provider performance and leverage data to drive future decisions and optimize outcomes
  • Monitor execution against agreed deliverables, milestones, and outcomes that matter.
  • Manage the risks, issues, dependencies, and actions across your services with clear accountability.
  • Drive open actions to closure and keep leaders clearly informed on status, risks, and performance.

Continuously Improve

  • Identify opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency, governance maturity, and stakeholder experience.
  • Drive best practices across service management, governance, and operational oversight.
  • Shape how our cybersecurity services and performance standards evolve over time.

What You Bring:

About You

  • You are a highly organized and influential professional who thrives in complex environments where governance, execution, and stakeholder management come together.
  • You move comfortably between the big picture and the operational detail, bringing structure and clarity to large-scale cybersecurity programmes.
  • You know how to get things done without relying on formal authority building alignment across different groups and making sure commitments turn into real, measurable results.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent hands on experience.
  • 10+ years of experience leading service governance, operational oversight, service delivery, or strategic partner management.
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, technology operations, IT service management, governance and risk.
  • A track record of building and running governance frameworks and executive-level reporting.
  • Strong understanding of service management principles including KPI, SLA, and performance management.
  • Experience working directly with senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

Nice to have

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar program management certification.
  • Experience in large, global enterprise environments.
  • Experience with cybersecurity services, managed services, or strategic technology partners.
  • CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent cybersecurity certification

Success in this Role

  • Build governance people trust across our internal cybersecurity third party services.
  • Made service delivery more transparent and accountable.
  • Ensure commitments and deliverables are executed successfully.
  • Driven real measurable improvements in service performance and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Enable leadership to make informed decisions through accurate, timely, and actionable reporting.
