SZNS Solutions (pronounced "seasons") operates at the intersection of elite management consulting and forward deployed software engineering. We help customers transform with technology. We're expanding our cloud practice and need exceptional people to grow with it.

SZNS is full of smart people who know how to have fun and know how to get work done. We're bringing a different kind of quality to government contracting through an engineering-first approach, differentiated GCP and agentic AI expertise, and good people to transform customers' experience.

The Role

You'll run one of our federal cloud engagements end to end. These programs are large: multiple workstreams, multiple delivery teams, and stakeholders spread across a wide range of cloud efforts. Your role is to be the person who has eyes on all of it.

Where you sit depends on the engagement. You may work inside the customer's program team, alongside a cloud provider's account team, or run the program from our side. Wherever you sit, you represent SZNS. That means keeping tabs on every effort underway, knowing who's doing what and why, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. You'll organize and attend meetings across workstreams, build the documentation, assets, and slides that keep everyone aligned, and manage the relationships that hold the program together.

You are responsible for making sure our engineering delivery teams are meeting the engagement. You'll know what each SOW commits us to, track delivery against it, and catch the gap between what was promised and what is actually landing before the customer does. You won't be writing the code, but you need to understand what's being built well enough to hold the work to account, ask the right questions in a technical review, and tell a customer honestly where things stand. When someone needs to know the status of any effort, you're the answer.

This role requires that you are trusted enough by the customer and partner teams to be treated as one of their own, while keeping a clear view of what SZNS is accountable for. You're also our read on the account: what the customer is doing next, which efforts are stalling, what's coming that we should be ready for. You keep SZNS leadership current without waiting to be asked.

This is a consultative role as much as a delivery one. The best engagement managers understand a customer's mission well enough to see where we could be helping and haven't been asked yet, then shape that into scope. On the customer side that means becoming the person program leads and government stakeholders call first, and turning that trust into more work for SZNS. On the partner side it means being asked for by name when the next effort spins up, and asked for SZNS when they need more than one person. That comes from running the program well, not from a sales motion, and how an account grows is a direct measure of how the role gets done.

Who We're Looking For

People who are exceptionally organized, absurdly detail-oriented, and energized by complexity. You can walk into a room of engineers, program leads, and government stakeholders and hold your own. You build trust quickly and keep it. You listen for the problem behind the request and can turn it into a plan someone will pay for. You'd rather own the full picture than a narrow slice of it.

What we look for

- A track record of excellence in whatever you've pursued

- Extreme attention to detail. You catch things others miss

- High bias for action. You figure things out and move fast

- Strong organizational instincts. You can track many parallel efforts without dropping any

- Enough understanding of software delivery to hold an engineering team to a schedule: what's actually done, what's at risk, and what a demo is really showing

- Judgment about how a services business runs: what a SOW commits us to, what falls outside it, and when something needs a change request

- Excellent communication skills: crisp documentation, clean slides, and the ability to talk to both executives and technical teams

- Relationship-building chops. You'll be the trusted contact for a lot of people

- A consultative instinct. You spot where a customer needs more help than they've asked for, and you can shape it into scope

- Comfort representing SZNS while working day to day inside someone else's team, whether that's the customer's program or a partner's account team

- Comfort with ambiguity and building structure where none exists

Nice to haves

- Familiarity with GCP technically, enough to speak credibly about the various efforts and what they're for

- Experience in or around federal or public sector programs

- Prior program or project management experience at scale

- GCP Certifications

You'll work with the best. Our team is especially selective, and everyone here is exceptional. You'll sit at the center of significant cloud programs in the federal government, with direct exposure to senior stakeholders on the customer and partner side from day one, and real ownership over how an account runs.

This role can lead anywhere: program leadership, account management, client-side technology leadership, or continuing to grow with us as we scale.

- Competitive salary and benefits package

- Hybrid work environment (MWF in-person in our Reston office), remote possible depending on candidate fit

- Continuous learning and development opportunities
