$36 to $40 an hour, weekly pay, and overtime when the project calls for it. Skillforce is hiring a Commercial Pipefitter for ongoing project work in Reston, VA. Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM start, on commercial MEP building systems. This is steady work on hydronic and domestic water piping in an occupied office building. No plant work, no hyperscale site, no travel. Weld experience is a plus and there is no weld test. If you know threaded and grooved pipe, we want to talk.
Pay and Schedule
• $36 to $40 per hour, weekly pay
• W-2, paid every week direct deposit
• Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM start
• Overtime when the project calls for it
• Ongoing project work in Reston, VA
Commercial Pipefitter Responsibilities
• Lay out, cut, thread, and groove pipe
• Hang and tie in black iron and copper
• Run hydronic and domestic water lines
• Make valve and equipment connections
• Pressure test the systems you install
Commercial Pipefitter Qualifications
• 3 or more years commercial pipefitting
• Threaded and grooved steel pipe work
• Read and work from mechanical drawings
• Own a standard set of hand tools
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
