Project Description:
Seeking a Performance Test Engineer with extensive knowledge in both Tricentis NeoLoad and LoadRunner for a leading healthcare/insurance client. The selected candidate will lead performance testing, performance engineering, and scalability analysis for enterprise applications, cloud-native platforms, data warehouse solutions, and data lake ecosystems — defining test strategies, designing workload models, and analyzing system behavior across application, database, infrastructure, and cloud layers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute end-to-end performance test strategies for enterprise applications, AWS-native applications, APIs, microservices, data warehouse platforms, and data lake pipelines
  • Design and execute load, stress, endurance, scalability, resiliency, and capacity tests using NeoLoad and other approved tools; automate execution within CI/CD pipelines
  • Analyze performance and resiliency results across application, database, middleware, network, cloud, and infrastructure layers; identify bottlenecks and communicate recommendations to stakeholders
  • Support performance engineering for cloud modernization, data platform migrations, and high-volume processing solutions
  • Validate performance, scalability, and resiliency of AWS services, containerized workloads, data ingestion jobs, ETL/ELT pipelines, and database platforms (PostgreSQL, etc.)
  • Provide technical leadership for high-visibility engagements; lead defect triage and root-cause analysis for performance issues
  • Mentor team members on NeoLoad scripting, cloud observability, test automation integration, and continuous performance testing

Mandatory Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in performance testing, resiliency testing, performance engineering, or quality engineering for enterprise applications
  • Hands-on experience with Tricentis NeoLoad and LoadRunner
  • Strong Cloud/CI-CD performance test automation experience, particularly AWS
  • Database performance validation experience with large-scale data warehouse or data lake environments
  • Scripting/programming/query language proficiency (JavaScript, Java, Groovy, Python, SQL, or shell scripting)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of performance testing lifecycle, SDLC, Agile delivery, and non-functional requirements validation

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with service virtualization, test data management, and workload modeling
  • Familiarity with cloud monitoring/observability tools and performance reporting dashboards
  • Knowledge of code quality and promotion practices
