Direct Care Training - Become a Kensington Care Partner!

Are you a passionate healthcare professional or nursing student eager to take your experience to the next level?

Whether you aspire to become a nurse, healthcare administrator, or anything in between, our Direct Care Training will provide you with the skills you need to jumpstart your healthcare career. This is a 5 day, in-person, paid training for newly hired team members looking to make a difference in the lives of our residents, while also enriching their own professional journeys.

Become a Care Partner and find your path, grow your purpose, and find a stronger sense of belonging. There’s something for everyone and there’s room to grow!

What is Direct Care Training?

• • Paid training for new team members for a week in September From Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm taking place at The Kensington Reston.
  • Certificated program led by our lead care team
  • Open to newly hired Care Partners - PCA, HHA, CNA not required 

What You’ll Gain:

• • Hands-on experience caring for residents and assisting with ADLs
  • Dementia skills training with Certified Dementia Practitioners
  • Professional mentorship from our Director of Nursing (RN), Neighborhood Managers, and 24/7 Nursing Team 
  • Direct Care Certificate 
  • A Full-Time or Part-Time position as a Care Partner with long-term growth opportunities
