What You’ll Do:
We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Marketing Coordinator to provide day-to-day coordination and execution of SecureIT’s marketing and corporate communications activity. This role translates defined business, marketing, and go-to-market priorities into an organized, active marketing and communications calendar and ensures activities move from direction through execution. The Marketing Coordinator sits within the People & Operations team, which provides day-to-day oversight, prioritization, and accountability.
Responsibilities and tasking include:
- Maintain the overall marketing and communications calendar, ensuring planned activity is visible, coordinated and delivered.
- Coordinate with executives, SMEs and other contributors to identify content opportunities and obtain necessary inputs.
- Draft, coordinate and schedule social media content.
- Coordinate newsletters, webinars, events, campaigns and other external communications.
- Maintain the internal communications calendar, including company announcements, leadership communications, recurring updates and key employee communications.
- Support drafting and formatting of internal/corporate communications.
- Maintain standardized templates for internal and external communications, presentations, announcements and other recurring materials.
- Act as the day-to-day brand steward - maintain brand guidelines and ensure materials consistently follow approved fonts, logos, formatting, tone and visual standards.
- Keep shared marketing assets, templates, collateral and brand materials organized and current.
- Coordinate website and other digital-content updates.
- Repurpose existing thought leadership, webinars, presentations and SME content into usable marketing content.
- Manage deadlines, approvals and dependencies - including proactively following up with contributors.
- Maintain basic reporting on marketing activity, engagement and campaign execution.
- Use AI and other tools to improve drafting, repurposing, scheduling and efficiency.
- Identify gaps in the calendar and bring forward recommendations for content or communications activity rather than waiting to be told what to do.
- Coordinate corporate gifting, employee rewards and recognition activities, and company events, including logistics, materials, communications and vendor coordination.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- Knowledge & Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, content coordination, or a related role; experience in B2B professional services, technology, cybersecurity, or government markets is beneficial.
- Experience managing content or communications calendars and coordinating multiple campaigns, contributors, and deadlines at the same time.
- Demonstrated experience formatting and editing business communications for different audiences and channels.
- Experience supporting social media, digital content, websites, webinars, events, or email/newsletter activity.
- Technical Skills:
- Comfortable working with common design and content tools such as Canva or similar platforms, with the ability to produce polished materials within established brand standards.
- Working knowledge of social media and digital channel analytics, with the ability to organize basic performance reporting and identify trends.
- Practical experience using AI tools to support content development, repurpose research, and workflow efficiency while maintaining quality and appropriate review.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Highly organized, dependable, and able to manage competing priorities, deadlines, approvals, and follow-up without losing momentum.
- Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable.
- Strong stakeholder-management skills and the ability to work effectively with executives, subject matter experts, Growth/Sales, and internal teams.
- Good visual judgment and a strong commitment to brand consistency and quality.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
