What You’ll Do
- Safely operate flatbed trucks and tractor-trailers throughout the region
- Complete local deliveries to customer locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load, unload, and secure materials safely
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and DOT-required records
- Follow company policies, DOT regulations, and safety procedures
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and team members
- Ensure accurate and timely deliveries
- Maintain clean and properly serviced equipment
- Operate forklifts and other delivery equipment as needed
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Ability to operate a manual transmission required
- Ability to pass background screening and FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service
- Flatbed delivery experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally
