Job Summary

We are seeking a customer-focused Customer Service Representative to serve as a key point of contact for our customers. In this role, you will handle inbound calls, process service requests, resolve billing inquiries, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is detail-oriented, dependable, and motivated to help customers efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer calls to process new service requests, service changes, and service discontinuations
  • Accurately enter and update customer account information in internal systems
  • Accept and process customer payments while ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Research and resolve customer billing inquiries and account discrepancies
  • Collaborate with internal teams to determine service requirements and resolve customer issues or complaints
  • Provide cost-effective, safe, and environmentally responsible solutions to customer service needs
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality customer support while meeting performance and quality standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in a call center or customer service environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer-focused mindset with a professional and empathetic approach
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and navigate computer systems efficiently
  • Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clifton Park, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.50/hr.
