As a Service Account Manager, you will be responsible for account management, contract negotiations, quoting work, providing technical support, and ongoing coordination between customers and any resources needed to meet customers’ needs.

What We Ask of You

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and concerns and provide tailored HVAC solutions
  • Identify and pursue new work, cross-sell or upsell to existing client base. Assist in the renewal process
  • Prepare and deliver sales quotes and proposals to clients
  • Work with sales and other internal departments to ensure successful delivery of HVAC and assist in developing strategic marketing plans
  • Provide up to date technical guidance and support to clients on HVAC systems and assist in resolving technical issues when they arise
  • Prepare reports. billing and other documentation as outlined in customer contracts and ensure all documentation complies with company policies and industry regulations 
  • Work to ensure customer retention rate, financial performance of assigned accounts, and pull-through sales are meeting or exceeding company standards
  • Maintain accurate client records including sales activities, client interactions, and project details
  • Monitor progress or work and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle with internal and external teams

Experience & Competencies

  • AAS degree or 5+ years of related work experience in the HVAC industry and BS Degree preferred but not necessary
  • Experience in the HVAC industry with the ability to quote HVAC repairs and replacements; Previous HVAC technician preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Excellent customer service skills including effective verbal and written communication 
  • Detail oriented and results driven with the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments and work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed to coordinate teams and vendors in multiple markets 
  • Must have the integrity, enthusiasm and willingness to represent company in the most professional, positive manners

Compensation & Benefits

Danforth offers a competitive benefits package for eligible employees, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, paid time off, and a 401(k) with company match.  The estimated compensation range for this role is $80,000–$100,000, depending on education, qualifications, experience, and location.
