Essential Functions:
- Perform installation, maintenance and testing of electrical equipment and wiring systems in commercial settings.
- Prepare work area for installation.
- Installation of electrical components.
- Connect wiring and equipment to code and specifications.
- Able to read blueprints and drawings.
- Verify dimensions and alignments per drawings.
- Manage and secure equipment on projects.
- Working knowledge of NEC and Building Codes.
- Adheres to strict quality control standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Perform complex electrical installations in a fast-paced environment.
- Be proficient in commercial wiring methods
- Be proficient in running conduit
- Work with all types of tools required to complete projects (Benders, Ladders, Lift, Scaffold, etc.)
Requirements
- Job requires working in all elements, depending on project location and time of year.
- Proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment)
- Able to work 8-10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, overtime if required.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, including crawling, standing, bending, kneeling, sitting, reaching, lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds.
- Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.
- Physical work is a primary part (more than 65%) of the job.
- Reliable transportation and ability to get to assigned location’s
- Use company web-based time keeping system.
- Pass background check.
- Valid drivers license
