Nevada Retina Associates is seeking a motivated, energetic, and dependable full-time Ophthalmic Technician to join our growing team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and knowledge in eye anatomy, retinal diseases, diagnostic testing, and specialized ophthalmic care. This position will float between out Carson City and Reno offices.Â
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform patient work-ups, obtain medical histories, and conduct specialized diagnostic testing
- Assist physicians with patient care and patient education
- Help maintain efficient clinic flow and provide exceptional customer service
- Prepare, clean, and stock exam rooms for daily operations
- Communicate with patients regarding follow-up care and return phone calls
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong work ethic with dependable attendance and punctuality
- Desire to learn and grow in the medical field
- Previous clinical experience in a medical office preferred
- COA, COT, or COMT certification preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Strong computer, written, and verbal communication skills
- Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply

Starting Pay: $19–$24 per hour, depending on experience.
