Position Summary

The Dietary Aide plays an essential role in supporting the daily operations of our Dietary team. This position assists in preparing and delivering meals to residents while maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant dining environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, and enjoys working with seniors. 

Full Time Schedule: 6:45 AM - 2:45 PM; Part Time Schedule: 3:45 PM - 7:45 PM. Every Other Weekend Required. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in meal preparation and service in accordance with resident diet plans and facility policies.

  • Deliver meal trays and ensure timely service.

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen, dining, and food storage areas.

  • Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment following established procedures.

  • Follow all food safety and infection control protocols.

  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with residents, families, and team members.

  • Support the cook and dietary staff as needed to ensure smooth operation of meal services.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in food service or healthcare setting preferred but not required.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail.

  • Compassionate and respectful attitude toward residents and coworkers.
