Responsibilities:
Inventory Management & Control
Maintain accurate inventory levels through systematic monitoring and control procedures
Execute regular cycle counting programs and inventory reconciliation processes
Analyze inventory discrepancies and implement corrective action plans to address root causes of errors
Ensure compliance with inventory management standards and protocols
Team Leadership & Development
Supervise, coach, and develop warehouse associates to optimize performance and productivity
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
Implement standardized training programs and development initiatives for warehouse staff
Foster a collaborative work environment focused on continuous improvement
Process Improvement & Waste Reduction
Identify opportunities to enhance warehouse systems and operational processes
Develop and implement improved procedures specifically targeting waste reduction in Shipping & Receiving operations
Monitor key performance indicators and recommend process optimizations
Lead initiatives to streamline workflows and increase operational efficiency
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Ensure all warehouse operations meet company standards and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for all warehouse activities
Implement and monitor safety protocols and procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
Work experience in a similar role
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Workday and Manufacturing ERP systems is desired, not required.
Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
Experience in conducting and leading associates.
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills to analyze challenges and exercise sound judgment in sensitive situations.
Strong relationship-building, communication, and critical-thinking skills
Data analysis and presentation skills to identify trends and proactively address opportunities.
Starting schedule during warehouse launch will be Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Hours of operation will be modified as necessary to meet evolving plant business demands.
