Our Rhinelander, WI location is part of our Smoke and Grill Division and nestled in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin. What You'll Do:

 

As a Production Operator, you will play a key role in operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality production. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

 

 

  • Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment using automated control systems to meet production and quality standards
  • Maintain processing conditions, production flow, and accurate operating records
  • Perform routine equipment inspections, basic troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance (belts, pumps, rollers, gears, piping, lubrication, seals)
  • Conduct quality checks and follow established QA procedures to ensure product specifications are met
  • Safely handle and move materials and finished product, including loading tankers
  • Clean and sanitize equipment (internal and external), including use of approved caustic materials
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with PPE and safety requirements
  • Operate forklifts, spotting tractors, and pallet jacks (training provided as needed)
  • Support team operations, special projects, and additional equipment or maintenance tasks as assigned

What You'll Need to Succeed:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Ability to operate and understand computer hardware and software related to automated equipment and process controls
  • Ability to operate and monitor manufacturing equipment within established procedures
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting and routine equipment maintenance
  • Ability to accurately complete production, quality, and equipment documentation
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts, spotting tractors, and pallet jacks (training provided if needed)
  • Ability to work a 12hour shift on a 4day consecutive schedule
  • Ability to work in manufacturing environments with elevated temperatures (average 90+ degrees) and high humidity
  • Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators, for extended periods when necessary
  • Ability to follow all safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures

Shift schedule is designated from 6:00-6:00, Night or Day, Overtime Available, 4 days on, then 4 days off.
