The Process Operator ll is responsible to oversee the setup, monitoring, and record-keeping of our state-of-the-art refrigerant distillation columns. This role will be responsible for assisting the Column Supervisor in the efficient operation of multiple separation units to ensure that company production targets are met. The Process Operator ll role is a vital part of our goal to increase gas processing capacity at our site.

Rotating Shift Schedule: Week 1: Wednesday - Sunday, Week 2: Thursday - Sunday (7AM - 7PM) or (7PM - 7AM) shifts rotate quarterly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the production supervisor in work assignments, managing production of the separation towers.

  • Daily monitoring of the separation towers to ensure the smooth and efficient running of site operations.

  • Report any faults, site, and maintenance issues to Maintenance to ensure site safety and product quality.

  • Accurately monitors inventory levels of material into the column for separation and finished goods product.

  • Delegate task to Process Operator l for setting up, tank transfers, and bulk tank moves

  • Encourage and participate in a Health and Safety culture to ensure a safe practicing environment.

  • Responsible for ensuring that quality control is implemented on a constant basis.

  • Personally, follow all operational processes and carry out quality control checks and ensure the close inspection of the work activities of the team.

  • Reinforce the importance of the Awareness policy to site personnel, to keep smooth and safe running of workshop operations.

  • Any other tasks, as required.

Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required

  • Process Technology Degree or prior experience in a Process Operator role

  • Excellent math skills

  • Basic mechanical aptitude

  • Microsoft word/excel required

  • Experience in manufacturing, or specialty gas industry

  • Understanding of basic engineering, warehouse, and environmental services

  • EPA 608 Certification must be obtained

  • Possess a valid Driver's License

  • Experience Driving ISO/Tanker containers using a Yard Hostler desired

  • Gas Chromatography

  • Chemical Blending and Transferring
