Job DetailsJob Location: Bloomington - Bloomington , CA 92316Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $70,304.00 - $80,000.00 SalaryJob Shift: DayJob Summary: The Inventory Supervisor will oversee the inventory control operations teams according to established policies. The position will follow standard procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency and maintain an acceptable level of physical inventory utilizing inventory tools, tracking systems, analysis, auditing and reporting. Job Expectations: Responsible for directing and supervising the tasks related to the inventory control operations Coordinate and direct the activities related with keeping accurate records on the incoming as well as outgoing shipments and preparing the items so that they can be shipped Provide the necessary leadership that is associated with building as well as maintaining a strong inventory management workforce Manage and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in inventory control and inventory record accuracy and help employees diagnose problems and recognize issues Lead the organization's inventory related teams and provide leadership for training and development of departmental personnel Maintain inventory as required by the sales and operations planning process, customer requirements, production schedules and corporate inventory management objective Supervises all inventory control employees to achieve objectives relating to inventory control management, provides communication and implements inventory improvements Coordinates and performs the taking of physical inventories in accordance with the manufacturers requirements, investigates inventory variances; directs the performance of daily/weekly cycle accounts and adjusts inventory records if necessary Monitors performance, disciplines, corrective action, and makes sure employees follow safety guidelines in partnership with Human Resources for guidance Responsible for employee work schedules and managing staffing needs Effectively manage project scope by ensuring any changes to scope are documented and approved Monitor compliance of company policies and procedures Completes assigned work efficiently and in an organized manner within an established time frame, works to complete objectives and sees a task through the end while taking into considerations current responsibilities and workloa Demonstrates a high level of professionalism including mutual trust and respect to all company employees Manage time and attendance procedures for employees timekeeping recording The duties and responsibilities described above may provide only a partial description of this position. Possess excellent organizational and time management skills Work experience in a multi-shift operation a plus Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadline  Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a great attitude to promote a positive work environment Cycle count experience Department store inventory knowledge, i.e., Kohls, Burlington Coat, Walmart Good math and technical skills Generates ideas and initiates action to seek information to solve problems Self-starter QualificationsEquipment Knowledge: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Warehouse Management System (WMS) required, Inventory System or Davinci knowledge preferred. Experience Requirements: Generally, requires a minimum of five (5) years experience in a warehouse or logistics environment. Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience. Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Business, Planning and Inventory or related field preferred or a combination of education and equivalent work experience. Judgment/Reasoning Ability: Able to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment, poise and diplomacy. Ability to use judgment and reasoning skills, and determine when to escalate issues, as required, in a timely manner.
