As a Construction Quality Control Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our projects are built to meet or exceed the Client’s expectations. You’ll be part of the project’s key personnel team on-site. You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource, and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Quality Control Plans: Knowledge of developing and implementing quality control plans, procedures, and protocols for construction projects.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure projects comply with relevant industry quality standards.
- Quality Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular quality inspections, audits, and verifications at construction sites to identify and rectify quality issues.
- Contractor Coordination: Collaborate with contractors to establish and maintain quality standards and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Documentation & Reporting: Generate & maintain regular quality control reports and updates for senior management and project teams.
- Communication: Collaborate with project teams to address quality concerns and provide guidance on quality standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop strategies to enhance overall project quality.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Attendance at work during normal business hours.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
Knowledge:
- Construction Processes: In-depth understanding of construction project lifecycles, methodologies, and practices, including the phases of planning, design, bidding, construction, and closeout.
- Construction Quality Regulations: Understanding of local, state, and federal regulations and building codes related to construction quality control.
- Construction Quality Standards: Comprehensive understanding of construction quality control standards, industry best practices, and relevant regulations.
- Project Management Software: Proficiency in project management software and documentation management tools to efficiently organize and track Safety & Quality activities.
Skills:
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve quality-related challenges and implement corrective actions.
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyze data from inspections and audits, identify trends, and make informed decisions to enhance quality.
- Organizational Management: Organizational skills to manage quality programs across multiple projects.
- Time Management: Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines and ensure quality standards are upheld without compromising project schedules.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to identify quality issues, non-conformances, and discrepancies in construction processes.
- Documentation Management: Skill in maintaining organized and accurate records of quality control activities, reports, and documentation.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and Project Management Software.
- Communication: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey quality requirements, findings, and recommendations.
- Confidentiality: Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Experience: 2+ years of experience in construction quality control, demonstrating a track record of successful project delivery with a focus on quality.
Preferred Certification: OSHA 30

The salary range for this full-time role is $77,000.00-$102,666.68 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package.
