Job Description:

Join a dynamic development and support team focused on the Advantest V93000 Semiconductor Test System, specializing in Analog, Power Management, and Automotive device applications.

In this role, you will provide technical leadership and application support throughout the pre- and post-sales lifecycle. Responsibilities include developing innovative test solutions on the V93000 platform and mentoring customer engineering teams to ensure proficiency and long-term success with the system.

Application Tasks:

  • Develop advanced test applications for the Advantest V93000 platform, with a focus on Analog and Power Management ICs.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support, including product demonstrations, device benchmarking, and competitive analysis of system hardware and software features.
  • Design and implement complete test solutions—both hardware and software—for complex semiconductor devices.
  • Support the transition of test solutions into high-volume production environments, ensuring robust execution and performance.
  • Offer subject matter expertise in areas such as load board design, test program development, solution deployment, best practices, test time optimization, and program conversions.
  • Lead the technical scoping, design, and validation of solutions to align with customer business objectives.
  • Identify and coordinate both Advantest and third-party resources required to deliver comprehensive customer solutions, while managing deliverables and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain project plans for complex engagements, ensuring on-time and quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with R&D and global technical teams to share insights on emerging technologies and trends within the Analog and Power Management segments.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer, advocating for their needs and priorities within the organization.
  • Design and deliver customer training programs and technical consultation materials.
  • Establish deep technical partnerships with customers, providing value-driven insights and reports that support their decision-making and business outcomes.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master or bachelor’s in electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related.
  • A minimum of 7 years of industry experience in IC test development or application development
  • Understand and design circuits, amplifiers, filters, etc.
  • Understanding of trimming, Scan techniques, analog and power test techniques.
  • Demonstrated strong personal leadership & good team player
  • Strong Java, C/C++ programming skills
  • Understanding of quality metrics in test methods and data analysis tools like CP, CPK.
  • Proven project management skills
  • Proactive, self-disciplined, and highly motivated

 

Preferred:

  • Understanding VLSI and semiconductor manufacturing process
  • 93K Tester programming experience
  • Loadboard design (Schematic, placement, layout)
