CNC Maintenance Technician

Do you enjoy diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues on advanced industrial equipment? Productivity Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support high-precision CNC machine tools and automation systems at customer facilities throughout the region.

We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with direct CNC machine tool experience, along with industrial maintenance and electrical training, to support customers with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced production equipment.

This position is based out of our Richardson, TX office, serving customers across northern Texas with a focus on the Dallas–Fort Worth region.

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of CNC metalworking machines (Haas, Makino, Matsuura, Hwacheon, Citizen/Miyano, etc.)
  • Machine installations and setup
  • Perform adjustments and repairs of spindles, drives, slides, hydraulic systems, electronic controls, electrical peripherals, and other items
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Calibrate, adjust, and replace components to ensure precise machine performance
  • Maintain detailed service records and communicate findings with customers and internal teams
  • Travel locally to customer sites within northern Texas, with emphasis in the Dallas–Fort Worth area; occasional overnights (4–6 per month) may be required.

What You Bring

  • 3 or more years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Prior Haas machine tool experience.
  • Strong understanding of servo systems, ball screws, spindles, and control systems (Fanuc, Mitsubishi experience helpful)
  • Technical training or certification in mechatronics, electro‑mechanical systems, automation, robotics, industrial maintenance, fluid power, etc.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Excellent problem‑solving and customer service skills
  • Willingness to travel within northern Texas, primarily the DFW area, with 4–6 overnights per month.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Compensation and Benefits

  • $30–$39/hour DOE, plus incentives — annual performance & salary reviews
