Make An Impact:
We are seeking a talented Manager of Demand Planning to join our Planning team at Fossil Group.. An ideal candidate will possess a strong collaborative spirit and the technical expertise to balance complex forecasting with financial objectives.

This role is a hybrid position, requiring you to be onsite Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays. You will report directly to the Director of Americas Planning. 

What you will do in this role:

  • This position reports into the Director of Americas Planning and will manage a team of demand planners for a portfolio of brands with a focus on team development.   

  • The Planning Manager works with the commercial, merchandising, leadership team, finance, cross-functional planning teams, marketing, IT and more and is responsible for overseeing pre-season and in-season forecasting and inventory control.   

  • Create and maintain reporting with common KPIs, help build analytics and forecasting  strategies to maximize sales opportunities..  

  • Manage and track KPI trends & targets that align with overall sales targets. Communicate any shifts in KPI trends and implications to cross-functional partners.  

  • Drive the innovation of tools and reporting to help better analyze the businesses with a focus on alignment within Americas demand planning across all brands.   

  • Collaborate with assortment planning and merchandising organization to review / challenge assortment flow plan and ensure sufficient quantities are purchased to support the assortment plan. 

  • Perform pre-season, in-season, and post-season analysis to uncover opportunities and risks

  • Develop recommendations for in-season changes and pre-season assortment plans to ensure maximization of objectives

  • Manage and develop team members to build bench strength focused on team development.

  • The Planning Manager must have a strong analytical skillset. 

Who You Are:
Requirements

  • 7+ years in Demand Planning 

  • Leadership -  2+ years of experience managing teams and projects.

  • Proven success in coaching and developing a team 

  • Strong partnerships/relationship building with cross functional partners

  • Adaptable in ever changing environment

  • Strategic thinking

  • Creative problem solving

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient with SAP, Microsoft Office and Google Enterprise Products

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering  required
