The Mail Specialist I processes mail for a centralized accounting processing center. This is an accounting support position in a fast-paced centralized accounting services environment providing financial services to community associations throughout North America.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive and open incoming mail
- Sort incoming mail by specified criteria
- Distribute incoming mail by utilizing central department mailbox system
- Receive and process outgoing mail utilizing mail equipment
- Maintain mailing equipment
- Maintain inventory of mailing products
- Meet deadlines established by senior staff on the processing of incoming and outgoing mail
- Provide specific returned mail to designated departments for further research
- Occasional overtime may be required
- Occasional work on the weekend may be required
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail
- Experience in customer service
- Computer and internet proficient
Education:
- High school diploma or GED
- 0-2-year experience working in a mail department and/or fast paced mail processing department or center
