Position Summary
The Production Manager leads the daily operations of the Production, Repair, and Quarantine functions to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality manufacturing outcomes. This role is responsible for production scheduling, quality control, process improvement, staff leadership, safety compliance, and technical support, ensuring products are built, tested, repaired, and delivered in accordance with WCCTV quality standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage all Production, Repair, and Quarantine activities including assembly, testing, repair, and inspection of cameras, trailers, and related components.
- Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules to meet customer orders and business requirements.
- Establish and utilize daily / weekly / monthly production KPI’s and develop action plans when underachieving to target
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure production targets and customer deliverables are achieved.
- Lead repair operations including evaluation, troubleshooting, and timely product repairs.
- Establish departmental standards for productivity, quality, reliability, safety, and accuracy while driving continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Oversee quality control processes including in-process and final inspections of all outbound products.
- Serve as the primary technical escalation point for Production, Quarantine, and Field Service teams.
- Support new product development efforts through testing and auditing of new product configurations and software.
- Lead, develop, and manage production staff, including hiring, performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee development.
- Drive employee engagement through morning production meetings, weekly staff meetings and monthly individual one on one reviews.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in Electronics or a related technical field preferred.
- Minimum five years of electro-mechanical assembly experience required.
- Minimum two years of supervisory experience leading production personnel required.
- Demonstrated experience interpreting wiring schematics, diagrams, assembly drawings, and detailed work instructions.
- Experience installing and terminating analog, digital, IP-based, wired, wireless, locally managed, or cloud-based systems.
- Experience commissioning, configuring, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining electronic products and systems.
- Strong understanding of electronic assembly workmanship standards and quality practices.
- Working knowledge of quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies.

This position operates primarily in a professional office environment and may require occasional travel to company locations. The role requires the ability to remain seated for extended periods and to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
