Key Responsibilities

  • Design high-speed, complex PCBs, ensuring high-frequency RF performance, thermal efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and testing teams.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source components and materials ensuring designs meet quality, cost, and efficiency objectives.
  • Produce drawings and build data required for manufacturing.
  • Utilize Altium Designer for Sch/PCB design.

 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering, related field, or equivalent PCB design experience.
  • Strong knowledge of RF design, power, and thermal management.
  • 5+ Years experience designing in Altium Designer.
  • Expertise in Cadence Allegro (System Capture / Allegro X) or a willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of transmission line theory, impedance control, signal propagation, reflection, crosstalk, termination methods, power delivery networks (PDN), and grounding techniques.
  • Understanding of various circuits such as RF, analog, digital, USB, Ethernet, audio, video, and DDR memory.
  • Experience with design for manufacturability and fabrication processes.
  • Ability to write technical documents and work instructions.

 

 

Optional Qualifications

  • Experience with AutoCAD or ADS.
  • Ability to write SKILL code in Cadence.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks.
  • Perform pre and post-post Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and Electromagnetic (EM) analysis.
