Position Overview:

The Director of End Point Technology Operations drives operational excellence and oversees the global teams responsible for managing the organization’s endpoint environment. This role ensures secure, reliable, and optimized endpoints across Windows, macOS, and Linux—delivering an exceptional experience for employees worldwide. Key responsibilities include leading teams and processes for operating system deployment and imaging, endpoint configuration, application packaging and release management, and endpoint security. The Director partners closely on strategic initiatives while ensuring flawless execution and lifecycle management of all endpoints.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead global endpoint operations and support teams across RTX
  • Oversee OS, application, and configuration management lifecycle.
  • Partner with Endpoint Technologies Engineering team to build and define strategy.
  • Lead and support endpoint technology operations.
  • Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement efforts for endpoint technology
  • Ensure compliance, risk remediation, and endpoint protection adherance.
  • Monitor performance, KPIs, and vendor partnerships.
  • Manage documentation, knowledge sharing, and support transition (SOPs)

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years experience
  • 14 years of experience in endpoint management, infrastructure operations, or related IT domains
  • 5 years experience leading a global or large scale endpoint technology or engineering team

 

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience in leading people, global teams including cross – functional collaboration skills
  • Working knowledge and endpoint management experience in Windows, SCCM and Intune
  • Experience in other endpoint management - macOS, Linux, and JAMF
  • Experience in application packaging, automated deployment, and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
  • Experience with Endpoint security tools and practices (Defender, BitLocker, patch management).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Work Location

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Texas, Cedar Rapids, other US office locations can be considered.

The salary range for this role is 186,200 USD - 353,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
