Smart Manufacturing and AutomationĀ (SMA) at Texas Instruments is seeking a Workflow Automation Engineer to join our Shop Floor Controls team. This role will focus on automating workflows across multiple semiconductor fabrication facilities to increase productivity. The ideal candidate will blend fab engineering expertise with advanced programming skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automated workflow solutions to increase efficiency across multiple semiconductor fabrication facilities
- Coordinate with fab stakeholders to comprehend, document, and automate business practices for the SMA Shop Floor Controls team, primarily in lot disposition processes
- Analyze current manufacturing and process engineering workflows to identify automation opportunities that maximize productivity
- Develop robust SQL queries and Python tools for analysis of fab data
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship in workflow automation best practices
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of automated processes and systems
