JOB SUMMARY Quality聽Inspector聽is聽responsible聽for聽monitoring聽and聽inspecting聽(PCBAs)聽using聽Automated聽Optical聽Inspection聽(AOI)聽and聽X-ray聽equipment聽to聽ensure聽high-quality聽standards聽and聽adherence聽to聽IPC聽guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 In process inspection: Inspection consists of frequent examination of the visual attributes of each product (discoloration, shorts, burns, contamination sinks, splay, delamination, etc.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Records data: Any information regarding the product or the performance of his or her duties that is deemed necessary by management.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintains work area: Keep production and packing area clean. This includes sweeping floors, picking up stray molded parts, removing dust, dirt, grease or oil from molding presses, and cleaning up oil or water spills and leaks.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Operates Machines: Operate AOI, SPI and X-ray equipment to detect defects such as soldering issues and misaligned components.
. Performs secondary operations such as reaming, trimming, facing and hot stamping.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Sorts and Reworks: Sorting and/or reworking product that does not conform to the customer requirements. Properly documents and labels to identify the status of non-conforming product.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Fosters teamwork within the company: Develops and maintains good working relationships with all departments.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Completes all required training as assigned
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Conducts all job functions in a safe manner
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Complies with all applicable state and federal safety and environmental regulations. Uses appropriate safety equipment as required.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Math skills must be average or better
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to spend long hours walking and standing
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Good color perception and good manual dexterity
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to work well with others at all levels
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Able to work in an orderly, logical manner while paying attention to each detail of responsibility
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Communicate verbally and in writing with a good command of the English language
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), SAP and e-mail skills preferred
