Finish Batch Mixer Operator - Batch Off

MIXER- 

Job Purpose: Setup and operate assigned machine(s) to weigh, mix and/or blend rubber and other chemicals into a homogeneous mixture. 

Job Requirements: 

• Load specified amounts of materials as directed by SOP into machinery or equipment. 
• Transfer materials, supplies, or products between work areas, using powered/non-powered transportation equipment and/or hand tools. 
• Examine materials, ingredients, or products per SOP to ensure conformance to established standards. 
• Operate machines per SOP to mix or blend ingredients to specific standard conditions. 
• Clean and maintain equipment as directed targeting a 5S approach. 
• Monitor accessory equipment, such as pumps or conveyors, to assure compliance with all standards of production process. 
• Follow work orders to determine production schedule, specifications and compliance to standards. 
• Weigh or measure materials, ingredients, or products to ensure conformance with requirements. 
• Collect samples of materials or products for laboratory testing. 
• Unload mixtures into containers or onto conveyors for further processing. 
• Dislodge and clear jammed materials or other items from machinery or equipment as needed while maintaining SOP for safety and quality. 
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following company standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. 
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications. 
• Notifies maintenance department of machine malfunction.

Openings are on 2^nd shift (7pm-7am) and are subject to change based on BCM production schedule
