We are seeking a Manufacturing Associate to work in our Richburg, SC facility. In this position you are responsible for performing a wide variety of tasks in the Finishing Department. This role will assist on the shop floor to ensure production goals are met. A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an attention to detail and a willingness to learn. This position offers opportunity for growth through cross training and job rotations. Associate will perform the summarized jobs listed: Straightener Operator, Peeler Operator, Grinder Operator, Mark and Pack, Saw Operator, and Crane Operator.

Additional Responsibilities

Use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers and measuring tapes.
Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and cranes. 
Use heat-treating furnaces to accurately heat treat both bar and coil products. Use specific mill instructions to correctly regulate furnaces and adjust for non-conformances.
Assist with setting up machines
Follow and implement all prescribed safety rules and regulations

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma / GED
One (1) year of manufacturing experience

Skills

Basic computer skills
Basic math skills
Ability to read a tape measure
