Job Description:
Partnership Academy has a strong commitment to culturally and developmentally relevant instruction for all students.   Partnership Academy requires its teaching staff to constantly improve their instruction in ways that directly impact students’ academic, linguistic, social, and emotional growth.
The teacher in this position would work to provide Reading and/or Math Intervention to students Prek-8, with a primary focus in middle school literacy, as determined by FastBridge benchmark assessments and progress monitoring data. Instruction would be provided through push in services during core instruction and small group instruction during intervention block times. The intervention curriculum is scaffolded from EL education or FastBridge intervention materials.
Through weekly professional development, coaching meetings, formal and informal observations, and frequent feedback, Partnership Academy educators are encouraged and motivated to constantly push themselves to perform at the highest standards. We are looking for an intervention teacher who can collaborate effectively to provide excellent instruction, as well as stay highly engaged with collaborative teaching and mentoring systems of support.
Teachers in this position must also ensure teach in ways that support Minnesota state standards, collaborate with teachers and other support staff, effectively collect and interpret data to guide instruction, provide individualized instruction based on student needs, partner with families and guardians to support students,  and establish a strong culture of learning.
Qualifications:
- Minnesota Teaching License strongly recommended
- Spanish speaker preferred but not required
- Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse students preferred
