About the RoleÂ
Put away and pick orders of large quantities with accuracy using equipment in a proficient manner and meet performance standards.
Shift: 1:00pm-9:30pm (weekend overtime if required)
2-5 years operating a cherry picker
Lifting limits: 50-75 lbs
Comfortable with heights
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Put away and pick orders with accuracy using mobile scanner, stock picker and/or forklift.
- Able to drive equipment in a safe and professional manner.
- Put away using Mobil Terminals to locations determined by WMS.
- Will also perform other duties which might include; housekeeping-cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, picking up and taking out the trash, etc.
- Other duties may be assigned, according to work volume to other departments when assigned or needed.
Essential Knowledge, Abilities and Skills
- 2-5 years of cherry picker experience
- Stock Picker experience preferred.
- Forklift/Equipment operation experience preferred.
- Mobile Scanner experience helpful.
- Computer skills required on an occasional basis.
- Good communication skills-written and verbal.
- Follow written and oral instruction.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination and math skills.
Education and/or Experience
- A High School Diploma/GED or Equivilant Experience PreferredÂ
- Must be a good team worker, with reliable attendance
- Must be physically fit, able to lift up to lift up to 50 lbs
- Requires use of basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
