This position is located in Richmond, VA and offers a schedule of Monday to Thursday in office and the option to work remote on Friday

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of software developers in building applications and platforms using modern Typescript, React, HTML, .NET Core, SQL Server, and AWS technologies.
  • Apply sound quality management methods, tools and techniques to create and support defect-free application software that meets the needs of the organization
  • Take complete ownership of product launch activities and coordinate closely with DevOps to monitor application performance and availability. 
  • Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be leveraged to strength CoStar’s technology platform and develop practices 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college, in-person college/university.
  • Track record of commitment to prior employers
  • 5+ years’ experience in web development and database technologies 
  • 3+ years’ experience building large distributed, API-driven systems 
  • Strong understanding of OOP and software design patterns 
  • Experience using JavaScript, C#, SQL Server, and AWS technologies
  • Experience leading technical teams, working through complex requirements and offering relevant, timely technical solutions

Preferred Qualifications And Skills

  • Commercial Real Estate knowledge is a bonus 
  • Experience with non-relational databases such as MongoDB or ElasticSearch 
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration
