We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer with a deep focus on AWS to join our team and help architect, implement, and manage cloud solutions for our clients. This individual should bring strong consulting experience, ideally with government or public sector organizations, and a demonstrated ability to work in complex, large-scale enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities include designing and implementing secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure; leading cloud architecture discussions and providing expert guidance on AWS services and best practices; collaborating with application teams to support cloud adoption, migration strategies, and modernization initiatives; ensuring compliance with enterprise security and governance standards (e.g., IAM, encryption, logging); providing guidance on cloud cost optimization, performance tuning, and operational excellence; assisting with documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to internal stakeholders or client teams; and acting as a trusted advisor to clients, translating business needs into scalable cloud solutions. Required qualifications include 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering with 5+ years hands-on AWS experience, deep expertise with core AWS services, strong background in cloud architecture, security, networking, and infrastructure design, consulting experience with external clients, experience with public sector or government organizations, familiarity with enterprise-level environments including hybrid and multi-account setups, and knowledge of compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST, or HIPAA. Preferred qualifications include AWS Certifications, experience with cloud migration projects, understanding of multi-cloud environments, familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, and exposure to automation or scripting.
