We are seeking a Commercial Service Electrician who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys troubleshooting complex electrical systems, and is committed to providing outstanding service to our commercial customers.
What You'll Do
As a Commercial Service Electrician, you'll be the trusted expert our customers rely on to keep their facilities safe, powered, and operating efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
Diagnosing and repairing electrical issues in commercial buildings and facilities
Performing service calls, maintenance, upgrades, and electrical repairs
Troubleshooting wiring, panels, lighting systems, controls, and power distribution equipment
Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Installing electrical panels, conduit, switches, receptacles, lighting fixtures, and related equipment
Conducting preventive maintenance inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become costly problems
Ensuring all work meets NEC requirements and local code standards
Clearly communicating findings, solutions, and recommendations to customers
Collaborating with project managers, foremen, apprentices, and other trades to deliver exceptional results
Maintaining accurate service documentation and work orders
Upholding the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and workmanship
What We're Looking For
ā 3+ years of commercial electrical experience preferred
ā Strong knowledge of NEC requirements and commercial electrical systems
ā Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
ā Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
ā Strong customer service and communication skills
ā Self-motivated and able to manage multiple service calls effectively
ā Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
ā Journeyman Electrician license preferred, but not required
ā Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in a variety of environments
