Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician Apprentice
Department: Maintenance

JOB PURPOSE
Perform maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including corrective, preventative, machine set up and installation.
Â
JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY
- Repair and Return to Service down equipment and equipment not running to standard conditions
- Determine maintenance requirements by:
- Checking Maintenance Log at each machine
- Patrolling manufacturing area
- Communicating with Operations personnel
- Evaluate current condition, determine root cause of failure and develop action plan to repair
- Repair and confirm proper operation before returning equipment to service
- Determine maintenance requirements by:
- Perform Preventative Maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Check speeds and tensions and correct any found to be out of spec
- Perform scheduled oil change and lubrication maintenance to all equipment
- Perform Equipment Set Up changes required for product changes.
- Install, Remove and rebuild manufacturing equipment as required
- Maintain an organized and clean shop area
- Maintain spare parts inventory
- Complete required paperwork

| Education/ Licensure/Credentials  | Required: Preferred: High School Graduate with some mechanical knowledge and background. |
| Experience  | Required: Basic mechanical knowledge and background  |
| Special Knowledge/ Skills | Required: Detail Oriented and self motivated Good communication skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to read machine specifications  |
