The Adjunct Professor in the School of Business is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in assigned undergraduate and/or graduate business courses. This position supports the University’s mission by fostering student learning, academic excellence, and professional development. Adjunct faculty are expected to bring practical, real-world experience into the classroom while maintaining academic rigor and adhering to institutional policies and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in areas such as management, accounting, finance, marketing, business analytics, or related disciplines. 
• Develop and deliver engaging course content aligned with approved curriculum and learning outcomes. 
• Utilize appropriate instructional methods, technologies, and assessment tools to enhance student learning. 
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and course materials. 
• Provide timely feedback on assignments, exams, and projects. 
• Maintain regular communication with students regarding course expectations and performance. 
• Hold office hours (virtual or in-person) to support student success. 
• Follow approved course syllabi and ensure alignment with accreditation and academic standards. 
• Submit grades and required documentation in accordance with University deadlines. 
• Adhere to University policies, including academic integrity and FERPA guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with department leadership and administrative staff.
• Participate in faculty meetings or training sessions as required. 
• Maintain professionalism in all interactions with students, faculty, and staff. 

Education

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field from an accredited institution. 
• Minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline. 
• Must be able to lift 10 pounds.
