About the Role:Â As a full-time Dentist, you will play a critical role in diagnosing, preventing, and treating oral health issues to improve patients' overall well-being and confidence. You will provide comprehensive dental care, including routine check-ups, restorative procedures, and specialized treatments. Your expertise will help patients maintain optimal oral hygiene, manage dental pain, and restore function and aesthetics to their teeth and gums. You will work closely with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure a seamless patient experience. Ultimately, your goal is to deliver high-quality, compassionate care that promotes long-term dental health and enhances quality of life.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry in the United States.
- Completion of required clinical internships or residencies.
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, pathology, and treatment techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with prosthodontics and restorative dental procedures.
- Experience with extractions, root canals, and wisdom teeth removal.
- Familiarity with the latest dental technologies and digital imaging tools.
- Experience in community health setting and treating individuals experiencing homelessness.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough dental examinations and diagnose oral diseases and conditions.
- Perform dental procedures including dental surgery and restorative treatments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and preferences.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to maintain dental health.
- Manage dental emergencies and perform oral surgeries as directed.
- Collaborate with dental team members to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient clinical environment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with all regulatory and safety standards.
Skills:Â The required skills such as dental surgery and restorative dentistry are essential for performing a wide range of clinical procedures that restore and enhance patients' oral health and appearance. Oral surgery expertise is critical for managing complex cases including extractions and corrective procedures.
