As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and dependable Electrical / Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is primarily responsible for performing electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work across facilities while also supporting the broader maintenance department as needed. The ideal candidate has a strong electrical background, is comfortable working at heights, and is willing to assist with general facility maintenance tasks including painting, drywall repair, pressure washing, and other upkeep projects.  Who We Are: For over four decades, Woodfin Heating, Inc. has been a dedicated partner, faithfully serving Richmond, VA, and its neighboring areas. We’ve evolved into a family of nine companies united under the Doswell Operating Group banner, bound together by our unwavering commitment to Humility, Integrity, and Respect. We are proud to be industry leaders in residential and home comfort services, mechanical contracting, commercial and industrial construction, vehicle wraps and graphics, and more! The opportunities within Doswell Operating Group are endless! Join us in this exciting journey where we create lasting connections, provide outstanding service, and stand by our values every step of the way.  What You’ll Do: Electrical Maintenance Duties Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and components Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and facility equipment Install, repair, and replace wiring, lighting, outlets, breakers, motors, and related electrical components Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Ensure all electrical work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations Respond to maintenance calls and electrical emergencies in a timely manner General Maintenance Support Assist with general facility maintenance and repairs as needed Perform painting, patching sheetrock/drywall, pressure washing, and basic carpentry tasks Address maintenance concerns throughout the property or facility Support team projects, special events, and seasonal maintenance activities Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner Safety & Equipment Operation Safely work with lifts, ladders, and bucket trucks for elevated work Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines Identify and report safety hazards or equipment concerns Work both independently and collaboratively with the maintenance team QualificationsWhat You’ll Bring: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Strong electrical maintenance background required Ability to work safely at heights, including operating and working from a bucket truck General maintenance experience strongly preferred Basic knowledge of painting, drywall repair, plumbing, and facility upkeep Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented attitude Able and willing to be trained on the proper and safe operation of equipment as needed (e.g., Boom Lift). Fluent English-speaking and writing skills are required. Driving Requirements Must have a valid Virginia driver’s license. Must have positive points on state driving record. Must be at least 21 years of age unless company approval is granted. Must not have had a DUI, DWI, or reckless driving conviction in the last five years. All driving records are run as part of our pre-employment process and reviewed at the discretion of the Safety Team.
