End Dump Operator CDL Class A

We are currently seeking motivated and experienced End Dump Operators to join our team at SRM. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials such as rocks, sand, and gravel within the quarry site and to various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate an end dump truck to transport materials around the quarry site and to designated locations.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) and company policies and procedures.
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, collect and verify delivery instructions.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations. - Maintain a clean and safe vehicle. **Qualifications:** - Proven work experience as a dump truck driver. - Valid Class B CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations.
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.).
• Willingness to undergo background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations.
• High school diploma or GED.

Qualifications:

• Class A CDL
• Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving.
• Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, coworkers, and customers.
• Physical fitness and strength to perform minor repairs.
• Time management skills to ensure materials are delivered on schedule.
• Willingness to undergo SRM’s pre-employment screenings.
