Job Description

This is a fully onsite role based at our 2244 Dabney Road location in Richmond, VA. We welcome applicants from all locations within the US. Please note that relocation assistance will be provided for this position.

Discover Impactful Work:

Provides lead site support through the coordination and performance of diverse activities related to facility services, building maintenance, engineering projects, and/or equipment maintenance.

A Day in the Life:

  • Perform refrigeration preventive maintenance and repairs and documentation.
  • Coordinates assigned activities with outside contractors and vendors, as needed.
  • Makes recommendations for improving service delivery and procedures.
  • Responds to facility-related emergencies, as assigned.
  • May cross-train or mentor department staff.

Keys to Success:

• High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

• Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to per

form the job (comparable to at least 6 years).

In some cases an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ideal candidates with have three or more years of refrigeration experience and a chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and balance priorities
  • Demonstrated positive attitude and the ability to interact effectively with others
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to communicate with a wide variety of specialized outsourced suppliers and vendors
  • May require advanced knowledge of building systems including, but not limited to, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and controls
  • May require knowledge and understanding of computerized maintenance and work order systems
  • May require a strong understanding of security systems

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Virginia is $30.00–$37.00.
